Done Trying Magic-
A couple of years back I was reading about Aleister Crowley, Anton Lavey, and anything that I could find about the occult or mysticism or meditation. I think it’s important to try to learn about as many different opinions and perspectives as possible. My mom was really into church so I was always told not to read anything about those things. I remember her saying that I could possibly be brain-washed and the devil would enter my brain. I didn’t believe that. But she was right, because on occasion I do bad things like tell lies, or have ill feelings toward people, or I’ve found myself being spiteful or impatient. Maybe that’s the devil inside of me.
This painting is about a young wizard that just learned about magic but hasn’t mastered the knowledge so he messes up and makes a castle turn to life.
